We welcome experts from all backgrounds. In order to let people shadow you, we only require that you are passionate and knowledgeable in your area of interest. During our beta phase, the categories available may change as we try to understand what users need most. If your area of expertise does not fall under one of the listed categories or subcategories, let us know.
Before you can schedule shadowing sessions, you must fill out a shadowing profile. Users will reference your shadowing profile before choosing to shadow you, so providing quality, detailed information is essential to building a solid network of shadowers.
If you are knowledgeable in multiple different fields (such as music production and graphic design), we require that you create a separate profile for each area to keep categorization organized to allow users to find you more easily.
Within a specific field, it is up to you if you want to create multiple shadowing profiles. Using music production as an example:
- If you specialize in one genre or style of music:
You probably only need one shadowing profile.
- If you specialize in multiple genres or styles:
You might want to create a shadowing profile for each area.
